Why has my screen become black?

My screen has become black!

I bought a lumia 525 about a year ago and it was working fine till now. Yesterday I dropped it but when I put it back together the screen display remained black. I could still hear notifications and the keys still vibrated when I touched them. I tried restarting the phone but that brought no change. I am using wp 8.1 right now. Pls Help!

Well, I dont know what to say, it broke somehow. if youre comfortable enough with messing around with the insides of the phone, you could try to take it apart and reassemble i, maybe something like a connector was knocked loose. Worse case, something has actually broken and the display (probably) needs replacement.
