Title pretty sums it up but seriously why? Windows 10 technical preview with consumer features release and no hands on video. Yes you linked a video to Joe Belfiore but I don't visit this site to hear Joe because he doesn't talk about the pros or cons moving from 8.1 or give any opinions on whether or not I should install it on my SP3. Likewise touch version for Office just released and no hands on video! Once again you guys linked a boring video of other people giving a demo. These are two major releases that windows fans have been waiting literally years for to get their hands on. Oh and where is that hands on video of the new charging pad?

I think at this point it just doesn't make much sense to invest time and man power in creating such videos, as Windows 10 as well as Office Touch are in very early stages and changing a lot from build to build. Updates are delivered quite fast, so whatever video would be posted, were outdated almost right away.

I understand your point but I think its wrong. Honestly they have lost a chance to gain a lot of viewership on Youtube and potentially new website visitors. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who likes and appreciates their videos on major topics like these or reviews on products im interested in.

Edit: A quick YT search for Windows 10 technical preview brings up various demos with the most views for Computer Clan...nothing for windows central.

Thanks god Windows Central is not going for click baiting like The Verge for example.

Agree but at the end of the day WC is a business just like The Verge who get most of their revenue if not all from ads which is based on site traffic I believe. My point is if they made more videos that are informative and helpful (which most of their videos aleady) then they would keep their loyal audience members like myself happy and attract new visitors while increasing revenue.

I get your point and won't even say you're wrong. But what makes Windows Central such an important source of information for me - and no doubt many others too - is its credibility. Verifying information before throwing out an article about some questionable news is actually preferable over the opposite way. You're right, click baiting may significantly improve page impressions, but for how long? I think Windows Central decided to gain a certain reputation to build up a strong and dedicated community of users who always come back rather what other sites do.
