Why is MS maps so crowded?

If you have used MS maps and then Google maps, you'll notice that the MS maps are very crowded. Take for example Europe, the view is just filled with so many names that it becomes crowded and chaotic. While in Google maps, just a small level of data is displayed, at just the right amount

Is there any way to change that for MS maps?
