Why is my 4g option missing from the mobile + SIM setting?

4g option missing from the mobile + SIM setting.

I had flashed my phone with the new ROM using nokia recovery software, now my 1020 no longer shows the 4g option. Any clues?

It would seem that you flashed a ROM onto the phone that doesn't support 4g?

Make sure you flash only with Lumia software recovery tool and if u used it, then there's no point of downloading an incorrect ROM so rest assured, maybe your carrier that you are using doesn't support 4g, in that case, the 4g option remains hidden.

It restored with the default settings with original rom, so that's not the case, however as I said 4g option was earlier available, I checked the rom versions and they are the same and I didn't change the carrier between then and now(which do support 4g).

I have the same problem before. Resolved it by flashing AU / NZ rom

Turns out Microsoft had disable that option and only today they have enabled the feature.

Even i'm facing the same problem. Pls share the workout to fix it if you find it first. Before the update, my 4G was very well working
