Why is my 920 playing one side of my earphones?

All along my 920 has been playing both sides of any earphones or headphones i use. Suddenly it does not show the earphone icon when i place the jack and even after the soft reset i am still getting one side of my headphones playing. and also the tell me function just pops up without being sanctioned.....please help team.

I'm thinking your headphone jack is dying. I don't think these are too hard to replace also.

Has spinning or moving the plug around the inside of the jack yielded any results? I think you're looking at a necessary hardware repair though.

At first thought I'd suspect the headphones, but it they're known good...

Yeah, my original L920 headphones had this same issue. Check yours out with another source of you haven't already just to be sure.
