why is my battery draining so fast and gets heat while charging and even not charging too -950xl

It's been two months that i bought 950xl(single sim variant) and still using it. From my first day of use 950xl gets heat n it's battery it's draining so fast. I update my phone to latest os version and even tried hard reset too but the problem is still going on. I haven't install so many apps neither using so many apps in background but still same problem. Microsoft is claiming it's battery back up for playing video is 11 hours and music 75 hours in it's site but it's totally fake.

I charge my phone throughout the night (from the time I go to bed till I wake up) and it lasts throughout the day. If I play games, I need additional recharge.

Check which apps are running in the background, I think by default all the apps run in the background unless you change the settings.

Battery life on W10M isn't good. I too have a L950XL and I don't like how quickly it drains as well. Starts at 100% and as I disconnect the charging cable and look at it, it drops to just above 92%. I'm hoping that RS2 fixes that.

I did not ask if you installed "what's app", I said check that the apps are not all running in the background. By default every app/programme on your phone is running in the background. Unless you change the settings it can/will drain your battery.
