why is my lumia 625 hanging on my lock screen?

i accidentally put a wrong password, then my phone told me to wait for a minute then it could unlock but now it is stuck to my lock screen for 2 hours now. i can receive messages but i cannot open my phone

I will suggest you turn off your device and then try to put correct psw on it
