Lumia 950 charging very slowly after update to build 10586.218

I updated my week old Lumia 950 last night to build 10586.218. The past week I have had no problem with charging it. It took a maximum of 1 hour 15 minutes to go from 5% to 100%.
Today it took 3 hours to charge the phone using the same charger (the one which came in the box) using the same plug point. My brother updated his Lumia 950 too and had no problem charging it (said it was even faster). I tried using his charger too but it did not work. The phone does not become crazy hot as it did before either.

I have tried soft resetting the phone and have also taken out the battery, cleaned it and put it back but nothing changed. I want to avoid hard resetting it.

Is anybody else facing the same problem?
Please help.

Today, the phone charged in 1 hour. I let the phone get completely discharged. I hope it was just a one time thing.

Yes. Had mine since January. This just started happening. It Drains fast too and just keeps getting burning hot when idle

Try taking the SD Card out and see if that stops the drain. Sometimes a defective card forces the device to see it attach and detach over and over, causing the device to work overtime.
