why is my Microsoft Mail not syncing mails?

I am on build 14393.693 idk whats wrong since 3-4 I noticed that Mail app is not sync'ing mails on my windows 10 laptop. is there a way to uninstall the app and reinstall it or is there any other fixes? Thanks

hi yes I am on windows central for a while.. the link you posted doesnt say anything about Microsoft Mail app. It talks about MS Office outlook.

so I found how to uninstall and reinstall the Microsoft mail and calendar app and I did so and now its not even creating any outlook/gmail account in the app lol.. any way to fix?

Hi @ l3unny! here's how I handle these kind a questions. There is no way that I can have a answer to all the questions that are posted in the Windows 10 section. Meaning that I haven't always had a personal experience with all of the issues that are asked there. I seriously doubt if anyone has. I wish I had a magic bullet and could always post the one solution for every problem that PC users have. That ain't ever going to happen. I copied and pasted your question on Google search and then posted what I thought might possible might be the solution to your problem. I do not have your problem and so I can't replicate your issue. I really don't have any more solutions. Hopefully another WC member will be able to help you and will join this thread!

Hi You might try a sfc /scannow/DISM. This would fix your file system if it has been corrupted.

Here's ways to recover W10. I would start with a restore point to a earlier time!

Settings > System > Apps & Features > Mail and Calendar > Advanced Options > Reset

Since it is a System app you cannot uninstall it. But you can reset it.

Are you trying to create an account ? or add an existing one ?
I am sure you can only add existing accounts to the mail app.

I had tried this also didnt work.. I was adding existing account ofcourse nothing worked. I just ended up resetting my pc and now it is working fine.
