Why is my pc slow? HELP!!!

My pc is too slow. Task Manager isnt working. When i click on task manager to open it, nothing happends. Windows defender isnt working eather. I cant go to control panel>advenced System settings. And my pc open a lot of cmd pages sometimes. What should i do? PLAESE HELP ME!!!

If this started recently and you have a good restore point, try doing a system restore. If not, then resetting it is the best option. Just make sure you back up files/photos/music first.

You could try starting in safe mode and see how it runs. If it runs fine, something changed (installed) that is taking a huge amount of resources.

One thing that might have an immediate impact is setting the rate of diagnostic feedback to low/basic. Settings > Privacy > diagnostic feedback


Just read the OP better. If a lot of CMD windows are opening then Golfdriver97's suggestion is probably the way to go

Disable all the startup stuff you have to see if that helps. If not, boot in to Safe mode. If it improves then, enable your startup programs one by one until the issue happens and thus you find the culprit., Also, try running MalwareBytes to see if you have any spyware installed.
