Why is my phone storaging files with unknown data?

Is your phone on the Black 8.0 version or is it on DP 8.1?

If your seeing that with "Storage Check" in 8.0 it may be inaccurate.
You can clear browser cache and delete temp files under storage check.

Also a "soft reset-phone reboot" may decrease high numbers under "other".

my storage check shows a half of gb filled with videos,but i didn't put any videos in phone memory

Is this is a some kind of cache????

Best way is to update to 8.1 and then you can download files from the app store and see what is exactly taking that space up and delete it
