Windows Central Question

When I clicked the windows icon in windows 7 I used to see a list options for control panel, computer etc but these don't appear now - it's not clear how to access control panel, computer etc under the new system. How can I get a quick link to these functions?

Click on the Windows button. Go to settings, Personalization, then Start. View the options there and then click on “Choose which folders appear on Start”. You can turn on and off what you want to see.

To quickly access Control Panel, right click the Windows button.

You can pin Control Panel if you’d like by clicking Windows button, then All apps, then go Windows System. Right click Control Panel and you can pin to Start or click more and pin to taskbar.

You can find just about anything in Windows 10 by pressing the windows key on the keyboard and then just start typing what you are looking for.
