Why is my wifi pretty weak?

My wi-fi is pretty weak, I have no idea why.

I did not have any issues with it a few days ago, but recently, when I move just a bit away from the ruter the signal gets weaker with every step I take, I used to be able to go around the whole apartment with great signal. Other devices work well. I have a Lumia 630.

Questions
Do you have a case on?
Have you rebooted your phone?
Do you have a VPN connection?
Do you know about QoS protocol?
Can you access your Wlan network and check how many devices are connected to it?
my initial thoughts are you have way too many connected devices and your QoS on your router is favoring them for the speed and thus weak wifi performance.
can you try a different network?

1. I do have a case on.
2. Yes, I tried rebooting it
3. No.
4. No idea what that is.
5. The only other devices connected to it are my laptop and my dad's notebook (but he uses it like for 15mins usually).
Does not work well with other networks too.

It's probably the case then, most cases don't take into account antenna reception, in the 630 manual you can find the antenna placement for Wi-Fi please try to remove the case and see if there's a difference.
