Why is Sina Weibo not integrating to my Microsoft account?

Last week, I noticed that my contacts on Sina Weibo do not appear in my Lumia 620 running 8.1 Denim. I tried syncing it, but it help in making my followings show up in People. Then, I tried disconnecting my Weibo account from my Microsoft account. Now, I can't add it back. I even tried adding it using my laptop running Windows 8.1, but it didn't help. All the time it's saying "Can't add Sina Weibo." The error code is 500.

Do you have Weibo accounts? Please help.

From what I can find is the error 500 code a common error when adding social accounts to your Microsoft account. It seems temporary and adding your Weibo account should work again at a later time. You might also try this link: profile.live.com/services/connect?appid=sinwe

Thanks. I tried the link, but it's still giving me the same error. I really hope it's temporary. Though, I have this issue for over a week now.

If you go to https://profile.live.com/home/services?view=manage do you see a connection with Sina Weibo? If so, remove it. Then also go to settings on the Sina Weibo website and look for connected services. If you see anything Windows related, remove it also. Then try to reestablish the connection on https://profile.live.com/home/services?view=manage
