Why is so much of my news based on Canadian news?

My region is US English, time zone 5 east coast. Too much of my online news is Canadian. I am in Vermont, I want American content. What do I change, and How?

Cortana must have checked your family tree and found you have a strong canadian heritage and doing what she does best, she's serving you content which may be relevant to you :winktongue::evil::evil::evil::evil::wink:.

Joking aside, try removing the search history via the hamburger icon -> settings and go to speech, inking & typing -> stop getting to know me. This will reset all the catalogued info about you on the device. Do a soft reset and go back to speech, inking and typing to turn Cortana back on.
