Why is the Cortana app disabled in Microsoft Health?

I found that the Cortana tile isn't on my Band 2. I tried to add it, but now I see that it isn't even possible to add it. Its disabled in the Microsoft Health app. Why is that?

do you have cortana in your phone? And does your region allow for cortana? Does the band have it's own region settings?

I'm sure that my region (USA) alloes for Cortana.

You're last question is an interesting one. I've no idea at all what region my Band 2 is set to. More importantly, I've no idea how to find out what region my Band 2 is. How do I find that out?

you'll have to discover that on your own as I'm from a region that has neither cortana nor the band

I had the exact problem as you. It is now fixed. Turns out that i had to uninstall the Microsoft Health app from my phone and reinstall it. Then I added Cortana to the band by turning it on with the app and saving it. So far it has handled every command perfectly.
