why is whatsapp not sending messages?

i have nokia lumia 730. from 2-3 weeks my whatsapp is not sending messages and downloading media contents using wifi network although i have a good wifi network. my phone is connected to wifi.

Have you updated to the latest version of whatsapp?

Do other messenger apps work on your phone?

i have asked that question. yes i have updated version of whatsapp . and all other apps are running properly. other users of same wifi are downloading and sending media contents
