Windows Central Question

Why my Laptop not shutting completely (Power light and fan stays on after shutdown) ?

When I used my laptop for over an hour, for some photoshop work, when I'm finish and going to shut it down, it wont shutdown completely the power light and fan stays on after shutdown. But sometimes when I used it for not more than 30 mins. it was fine when I'm shutting it down. This only happens when I replace my HDD with SSD, format then reinstall everything.
Laptop specs:
Acer Aspire E5-571G
Windows 10, build 1511 (not insider)
i7 4510u, Nvidia 840m, 8gb Ram, 250gb SSD samsung evo
Programs I used are Photoshop CC, Lightroom 5.7, Open office, Microsoft Edge only

Any help or suggestion please.
Thank you.

Your laptop probably goes to sleep rather than shutting down.

Do this:-
1. Open Control Panel. (Not settings app!)
2. In the Search box (press F3 for direct access), type lid.
3. In the results, click on the blue "Change what closing the lid does" link under Power Options.
4. On the next page, click on "Change settings that are currently unavailable".
5. Uncheck the "Turn on fast start-up" option on the same page under Shut-down settings.
6. Click Save changes. Done.

Your laptop won't go to sleep hereafter.
