Why isn't my Lumia 635 signing in with my MS account?

[Windows Central Question]

I've been unable to sign in with a MS account for the whole morning.

I'm currently on Windows Phone 8.1.

I also tried with other nokia smartphones too. But no avail.

Are Microsoft dumping 8.1 users now on the verge of CU release?

Hi, other users have been posting about this problem (see thread below).

They aren't necessarily dumping 8.1 and you may find that it starts working again.
I would may be contact Microsoft via the chat function on their website and see what they have to say.
