Why isn't my Windows button working on my Surface Pro 2?

windows button not working on surface pro 2

The windows button on my surface pro 2 has stopped working. I get the small vibration but it does not take me back to the home screen.
The one on the keyboard works fine.

any one help?

Did you hit your surface pro 2 into anything accidentally or non-accidentally ??
If not try restarting it
If not take it to the nearest Microsoft store

Did you accidentally turn on filter keys? settings, change pc settings, ease of access, keyboard, turn filter keys off.

I want to say thanks for this, I thought I ****ed up my SP2 or something, turns out it was just filter keys, LOL
