Why isn't the caller ID information showing up when a caller calls?

Caller ID issue: number information do not show up

I have a Lumia 925 no brand under TIM signal here in Italy.
After the last preview for developers update (SO version: 8.10.14219.341 Firmware: 3051.50009.1424.0006) that brought also an alpha version of Cortana with italian language, every time receive a call I'm not able to see the caller number or his name (if it is in my contacts). It also happens when I make calls: the receiver cannot see my name or info, he just get "private number" or "unknown".

If I go under phone settings I don't have the options regarding the caller ID. I tried a soft reset and an hard reset, but nothing has changed.

It's a pretty annoying situation affecting the basic function of a phone.
I hope to find some help in here since I didn't found something helpful on the net.

In your recent call logs list tap on the ... to get settings option. tap on settings and you should see the caller id option. set it to which ever option you please and go back to main screen. It should be fixed. I am not aware of any such bug. Worst case scenario you will have to revert back to previous known state

i have the reverse problem - when someone is calling me, his name wont show up, are this two problems anyhow related?
