Why isn't the music I copied to my phone not showing up?

Music copied to phone not showing up

I just deleted all the music on my Nokia Lumia 520, and then copied all my music back to the phone. Some of the music that I deleted I put back in the copying process, and the old music showed up, but the new music didn't show up in Xbox Music. But it did show up in the Files app, and Windows Explorer. What is happening?

Restart your phone - the music app takes time to (re)index the files.

I assume under FILES, you see the music in the correct folder.
You should be able to play it from there.
Did you copy to phone (or SDcard) ?

Thanks! I restarted the phone and waited an hour and it works.
