Why isn't there a decent youtube app for WM10?

Guess it: never heard about the Google feud against MS?
Google blocks every 3rd party app after some weeks.

Once upon a time, there were oficial Maps and Youtube apps too in Win8

Google blocks every MS app using Google services and allows Android apps using MS services... business is business

Perfect Tube is all I can think of. Tube Tube is good for downloading videos too.

Another vote for myTube. They are working on a new UI as well, which can be seen in myTube beta.

Metro Tube is not a web wrapper and works fine.

Ditto on metro tube. Been using it since 2012 and find it to be an excellent YouTube alternative.

Is it just me or is there no way to save videos in the beta despite the button being there?

^ The feature isn't enabled yet since it is in Beta, for the moment you'll have to use another app for downloads.
But in terms of browsing and navigation, I don't think there's one that's better than MyTube Beta
