Why isnt true caller getting started in my 640xl

[Windows Central Question]

I downloaded the app. Then entered the phone number and selected the country. But getting started is not being shown at all. There's like a glimpse of the option and then m directed to entering the number box again.Can someone help me with it? Thank you.

Have you ever used truecaller before?
Is this on windows 10 mobile?
check in settings > privacy > apps >can it work in background
Also in privacy settings > contacts > can it access your contacts?
