why isn't WhatsApp allowing me to verify my number?

I change devices alot due to working hours and inability to charge my phone at work. WhatsApp on my windows phone says "you have requested a code too many times please contact customer support" and so I contacted customer support and have not yet received a response. If anybody else has encountered this problem please help!

Unfortunately, you've to wait for their response. Usually, they reply your mail in 24-48 hours.

I had this problem and it said I had to wait 24hrs before I could request Sms verification again but it still let me use call verification and counted down from 5 mins to do so if left

It has been 72 hours since the problem occurred. Nobody got back me to yet.

After telling me that I have requested my code too many times it just takes me back to the previous screen and doesn't offer me the call option. The only options are "support" and "cancel"
