Why won't my Band charge beyond 80?

Band won't charge beyond 80%

I just got my Band a couple of days ago, and I really like it so far. The only problem so far is charging. It won't charge past 80%. Is this normal?

Past 80%, the battery is going to take longer to charge. Are you sure you aren't just being impatient?

How long did you leave it on the charger? It takes around 30 mins to get to 80% and then around another hour for the remaining.

It stayed at 80 for about half an hour.

Mine sites at 80% for a long time before jumping to 100%. Not sure why they didn't make it show more specific amounts? Unless it has something to do with having dual batteries???

Yeah there is many other threads about this. Search it! But yes, 80% for me happens in 30 minutes, but to reach 100 can take up to another two hours.

As I understand it's a rapid charge to 80% and then regular (and/or trickle?) for the remaining 20%. If so that would go a long way toward managing battery heat and preserving the life of the battery. BTW I sometimes find I can pull off the charger when it looks stuck at 80% and put it back on, and then suddenly see the rarely-spotted 85% or even 90%. LOL

if it's stuck at 80%, unplug, turn off the band and plug it again. it will turn on automatically and the battery will be 100%

It goes to 100%. I was just expecting to see it stepping from 80-100.
