Why wont my gaming pc connect to my monitor

It is a prebuilt I bought but it wont connect even though I connected hdmi straight to the graphics card

Can you give us the specs of your prebuilt?

CPU and GPU for now.

So we know what we're dealing with.

Also have you tried different HDMI cables?

What about display port to hdmi cables?
