My Microsoft Lumia 640 XL won't switch to landscape mode soon after taking pictures.

Hi,
I used to switch my mobile screen to landscape mode after taking pictures even when the Rotation is locked in the portrait mode. But now this doesn't happen. Now, I have to first unlock the Rotation, then tilt my phone to view the image in landscape mode. How can I bring back the earlier settings to this issue?

Just to make sure I understand, you're talking about the Lumia camera app which opens in landscape orientation, take a picture, then click on the picture you just took in the top left corner, and viewing this picture should allow landscape orientation even when the rotation is locked? Correct?

I haven't observed this behavior before, and I used the camera a lot on my Lumia 1520. I can't duplicate this behavior either on the 640XL. If the picture rotated to landscape even with rotation lock ON, I would call that a bug, rotation lock should not allow this, even though it seems you prefer it this way. Rotation lock means keep everything in portrait orientation, which the camera app does with pictures, and obviously the camera view itself cannot be portrait , well, I guess it could with black bars on the top and bottom but I don't think anyone wants to go there.
