Why won't my password work on Windows 10?

[Windows Central Question]

The password acts like it will work, says "Welcome", then says "Incorrect password", even though it is the correct password. Only happened after a strange dog appeared on screen (hurr-dur dog).

Hi Welcome to Windows Central! Are you saying that a dog appeared on your screen and now you can't log into W10?
If you need more help,please join the forum. Are sure this is the password you have always used? Try your Microsoft Account password!
