Why won't my pc boot after the Windows 10 update?

pc will not boot after windows 10 update

have a newer ventage desktop running windows 10 since new, the last two days in a row, i've had windows updates and each time it causes my pc boot to fail. I've had to do a recover to regain function. What can I do to find and fix this and prevent it from happening? Only happens as a result of the Windows 10 update
