Why WP 8.1 denim cannot access HTTP WiFi with username password ?

I am using a lumia 630 dual in India. It cannot access my university wifi and shows limited connectivity. Though iphones and android phones does and even the lumias with win7.5. University wifi is HTTP proxy username password based. I can set the proxy and port by manual setting in wifi but internet explorer repeatedly asks for username password, even if I put them multiple times it cant remember. Need quick solution to it. Before denim, it only showed no internet access. After denim update it can connect to the wifi but I cannot browse.
Does project spartan Edge browser authenticates the proxy by user name password in Windows 10 TP?

You mentioned you enabled the proxy option and entered the server/url and port. Did you also enable the option sign in at proxy? There you can fill in the username and password that are required so you won't have to in the browser.

You can authenticate it by using CCProxy.
