wifi issue?

Evening All i have a question... why is wifi of when you lock/switch off your sreen? ok i know for battery... but what about whatsapp or tango? i get missed calls or msgs that i want to see on time... is there a solution or wait for a MS update... thanks!

Unfortunately as you quite rightly said it's a battery saving thing.

There's currently no way to stop the WiFi going to sleep when you lock the phone.

There's loads of users who like you are looking for a way to keep WiFi alive.

Hopefully in a future update we'll have this option.
