Wifi issues on 14393.479

My neighbour has wifi which they have shared with me. However I keep having serius issues connecting to it

Either I try connecting and I get a message saying can't connect
Or it connects but says no access to internet
Or it says password is incorrect and yet the password hasn't changed
Or just stops connecting and I have to press to connect again

Soft resets sometimes work, maybe 10% of the time. Same with deleting and adding the network again

Is this an issue with the 14393.479 build or an issue with the phone or something else? My surface 3 on W10 14393.576 can connect without fail and so can my brother's lumia 640 on windows phone 8.1

The connectio does work perfectly when I'm closer to the router (which means I go outside the house)

Try hard reset but first reboot router see if helps.
My Lumia 810 W10 14393.576 was able to get emails,news... but I was not able to connect even in my work place.
After hard reset all is working well so far.

I'm trying to avoid a hard reset as I'll lose info - and I'm still stuck on 14393.476 while .594 is rolling out
