Wifi keeps connected

My Lumia 520 is set to disconnect wifi on screen lock. I've noticed earlier it keeps connected when plugged into the power, now it does even unplugged. I'm not sure if it is a software issue, a buggy app messing or even hardware issue?

I'm glad to see such a fast answer! The phone is set in advanced settings to disconnect while screen is locked, thats why i worry about that.

may be then you try soft reset,
or why you don't want Wi-Fi in screen locked?

I somehow fixed it, re-inserted battery, uninstalled WeChat app. I didn't know about soft reset, thanks!

soft reset is done some little weird problem is there, so for soft reset
power key + volume down key press both simultaneously for 15 to 20 seconds, then your phone will restart after vibrate

Since his phone has replaceable battery. re-insert the battery is the same as soft-reset. Soft-reset procedure is useful only for phones that can't take battery out.

but soft-reset is far good as compare to battery as by this back cover loose & may be battery too
