Turning on WIFI from Action Center works fine.

Does anyone know why turning off WIFI from the shortcut will take us to the WIFI setting page? It should just turn it off from the Action Center, why do we need to be taken to the WIFI setting page?

Unless there is a reason for Microsoft to require us to turn it off from the setting page, but I don?t see any reason for that.

2: They did this so that so you can tell your phone to automatically turn on the WiFi within a few hours. I wish they would extend this setting to 8 or 12 hours, but this is pretty neat. Sometimes I forget to turn on WiFi and then I use too much 3G data. So I prefer how Microsoft has done it right now, no high data costs anymore.

Thanks. I still hope they will enable us to turn wifi off from the action center. Because I do that often.
