Currently I am using BLU WIN HD LTE X150E which is still stuck on win 10 anniversary update. Even to get latest cumulative updates flashing to win 8.1 via wdrt and then upgrade to latest win 10 via upgrade advisor or windows insider app would still required. Also Blu is not receiving lates win 10 creators update builds. Whenever I select fast or slow ring it says your phone is up to date. Don't know what will be the next plan for this device.

The BLU Win HD w510u, BLU Win HD LTE x150q are the only BLU phones supported to Win 10.
With win 10 you will get no more updates.
If you use the WDRT and go back to 8.1 you will not be able to install 10 again.

There's a mixture of outdated and misleading information here.

The X150E and X150Q are both officially supported for Windows 10 Mobile. For the X150E specifically, the support was officially rolled out back in June 2016. You have to use the Windows Upgrade Advisor app.

After you install the original RTM edition of Windows 10 Mobile via the Upgrade Advisor app, your Blu Win HD LTE will search for updates and download the most recent build of the Anniversary Update. However, after you install the Anniversary Update, you will stop receiving any new builds. The next time a cumulative update is released, your Win HD LTE will not even attempt to download it.

If you're already running a version of the Anniversary Update, and you want to obtain the next cumulative update, you MUST downgrade back to Windows Phone 8.1. Then, re-install the Upgrade Advisor App, and it will re-install the RTM edition of Windows 10 Mobile, which in turn will automatically upgrade you to the newest cumulative update of the Anniversary Update.

This process has to repeat every month as new cumulative updates are released.

It is FALSE that you will be stuck on Windows Phone 8.1 if you use WDRT to downgrade. In fact, the opposite is true: At the moment, downgrading via WDRT is the ONLY way for you to remain up-to-date.

Now, back to the OP's question: We can only guess right now, because it seems that the Win HD LTE hasn't been receiving insider updates for a long time now. But I strongly suspect that we'll miss out on the Creator's Update entirely. We'll probably be stuck with the Anniversary Update.

I do have a glimmer of hope, because another thread on this forum says that Blu technical support has responded to another user acknowledging the OS upgrade bugs, and assuring the customer that they are working with Microsoft to resolve it. Of course, that may be a load of BS.

I have not yet attempted the WDRT route and remain on the Anniversary edition's first iteration. Actually the phone is quite well behaved. True Netflix doesn't work and the front camera stopped working properly inside Whatapp for selfies (not video though), but in general things are pretty OK. The new version of Word, Outlook and Powerpoint look as they should on a phone.

It did. (see the discussion above). But it seems the Creators Update will definitely not be coming. Too bad.

Yea, probably won't be supported. Looks like it'll be stuck on the broken AU build forever. I just wish camera auto-focus and the screen screen dimming drivers were added to the firmware. If those were fixed, staying on AU probably would of been fine for a while.

I suspect the degree to which BLU appears to have dropped support for their Windows phones may have something to do with it. I could find no mention that they'd ever supported anything other than Android phones on their website.

Ive tried it, but after making your phone 950XL and rebooting, screen calibration changes and you can't touch half of screen, so did wdrt and now on 14393. But if any lumia has screen resultion 480x854 then it can work

My device is BLU win HD LTE X150E. I was on factory firmware 15009 which i flashed couple of days ago. I tried to tweak the settings via interop tools. For that i used Lumia 640XL LTE (Indian Variant) which my brother using it and he got the creators update last month via ota. Both lumia 640/640XL and BLU uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 400/410 having the same SoC part no as msm08916.So i did not only changed the model name but used lumia 640xl lte firmware no along with manufacturer model. After the rebooting the phone i tried to get the insider builds but no luck. So i did wdrt and this time i am on 15013. I will give another try.

Just so people know, you only buy BLU phones, whether Android or Windows for their low price and hardware. There is virtually no post-sale software updates or support.
