Will HK version work in US for AT&T?

I noticed the 800 has two different version, and the one abroad doesn't seem to work here for AT&T, no 3G. I was wondering if anyone knows if there are two different version of 710 as well. Specifically, will the 710 purchased in Hong Kong work here in the States for AT&T over 3G/4G? Anyone tried this? Thanks!

AT&T 3G is on 850 and 1900, so you need to check what the 710 variant you are buying supports.

The T-Mobile version does support 850 & 1900 but would need to be unlocked. On eBay or else where they should list the bands, check if under 3G/UMTS/HSPDA they list 850 & 1900.
