Will I be able to upgrade to W10 from W8 (not W8.1)?

Yes but Windows 8 will require an ISO image, which you can have on a DVD or USB drive.

I don't know anything about this, but if what Harrie says is true, then you could easily allow the Windows Store to upgrade your W8 installation to W8.1 and then upgrade to W10 from there.

Ive checked on internet and it says it causes that laptop to constantly freeze and mess up so i don't want to risk it
