will i loose everything when i upgrade to windows 10? meaning games and softwares i have installed.(will it wipe my hard drive)

Mine didn't, everything seems to be in place as it was with W8.1.
Mapped Network drives
Samba files share shortcuts
music
photos
desktop icons and arrangement, background and theme even stayed.

Yes, you'll loose everyting: your house, your car, your pets, your phone etc. :grin:

Just kidding. No you won't loose anything if you do a Win10 upgrade of your current OS. You will loose everything (on your HD/SSD) if you do a clean install of Win10.
