Will losing the User Guides void my right to get my phone replaced?

Here, on the first page it's stated that Warranty is not applicable for - 1.) USER GUIDES.

I want to get a replacement for my Lumia 830 arrived just 3 days ago because it's screen has popped-out from the top side (it was like that already). I have all the components of the original packaging box including their protective plastic bags.

Here's a picture of the defect:-

What I don't have is, the included User Guides and the Wireless charging pamphlet. I lost them.
So, will they accept my replacement claim if I don't have all the paper components?

Please suggest asap. I have already registered my claim.

Thank you.

I would think so. They can't sell the device like that anyway, pamphlets or not. Do you have proof of purchase?

P.S. You're not the first person with this issue on the forum. So, I'm guessing Nokia/MS Care has seen it before. But regardless, hopefully you can just get a replacement since it's brand new instead of going through support.

I wonder why this happens sometimes. Is it the fit of the glass or just not enough glue? Initially thought it was the former, but I think it may have something to do with adhesive amounts and placement.

Absolutely. I don't see why they wouldn't. Do you have proof of purchase?

Yes, I do have a proof. It's the Invoice that came with the product. And also I had contacted the seller both through e-mail as well as phone; I have these mails' copies.

You should be fine then. Did you purchase from an authorized retailer or someplace like Ebay?

Well,........... ahem,....... from eBay :sweaty:

Nothing wrong with that, I've purchased phones from there before. I only ask just to gauge how easy it will be for you to get a refund or replacement. Might have to be a little more patient with Ebay. I hope you didn't leave the seller any reputation comment yet. And if you used PayPal, they should protect you pretty well.

I did leave a "Neutral" feedback (is that a problem?). Also, I bought it using Cash On Delivery.
But the product is secured under so-called "eBay Guarantee". I don't know what exactly it does, but still I'm assured of getting my issues rectified soon.

Not a problem persay, but the seller would want to avoid negative feedback and thus try to quickly rectify the situation with you before you left any feedback. Perhaps email them and say you will gladly revise your feedback comment once the situation is sorted out.
