Will my Lumia 520 be updated to Windows 10?

Yes, yes, I know... Microsoft Lumia told us last year that they are planning to update all Windows Phone 8 models to Windows 10...

BUT...

LOTS of tech sites lately are saying that A MAJORITY and NOT ALL of the Lumias will be updated to Windows 10.

If this is true, then I am sure that my phone will not be updated... Microsoft has been releasing low end phones with 1 GB of RAM lately. And there was a news last week that the new Lumia 532 is said to be "Windows 10 ready", and it is a low end phone with 1 GB of RAM... This might be an indication that Lumias with 512MB of RAM will not be updated to Windows 10...
 
Hope it does,i really want to try the Win10 preview on my old 520 before install it on my 730,im glad that ms learns from their mistakes,lumia world,i guess they try to draw our attension and get clicks from their false posts,only trust WC for windows news :)
 
Microsoft new Lumia 435 comes with 512mb RAM and it will sure windows 10 comfortable with this phone.
so don't worry all Lumia windows phone 8 device will upgradable to windows 10.

Taking words out of contest is one of the big problems in our society.
MS only can say that devices CAN be updated but did not state that they WILL be updated because if carriers refuse to pass the update than some devices will not get it.
For example T-mobile has the 810 still on Amber. This is not because the device can not "handle" the update but because the carrier does not pass the update.

So actual the tech sides are not spreading false information because MS did not say all devices GET the update. They "only" get it out of context by not telling the total story.

All Lumia Will be upgradable to windows 10. But not so fast!!, first update is going to the phones which was built in windows 8.1
 
Have you noticed a picture in Windows central. That all Lumia which buiit in 8.1. Now they are in Windows 10. I noticed Lumia 635 which have 512Mb ram, so there no need to worry

435 and 532 has 1gb ram cos of the pressure from android OEMs like Xiaomi who have 1gb ram phones in similar price brackets. So 435 having 1gb ram doesn't mean anything to W10 chances of other WP.
Besides that they had 512mb ram phones running W10 in the event so there's no need to worry.

How do u know that their was phone running w10 on with 512 ram. Show me proof. Plz

435 has 512mb ram. But all phones (yes, ALL PHONES) will get w10
