While this seemed like a silly question for a space exploration game, I confess, I've probably spent hours fishing in Minecraft. Of course, that's because it's a good way to get experience to create spell books to craft epic weapons and armor or to restore existing equipment with the Mending enchantment (that epic fully enchanted diamond sword wearing out? just go fishing, swapping pole for sword mid catch, and it's back to 100% in no time).

Also, while I might never have thought about it if you hadn't raised the idea, I realize that I would enjoy my personal base on a distant world a lot more if I could stand on the shore and cast a line in my private pond dozens of light years from Earth. That's the kind of activity -- stopping to relax, enjoy the scenery, and go fishing -- that makes a place feel like home...
