Will the 1020 get 8.1 Update 1?

I know 8.1 Update 1 is rolling out to Lumia phoes but only on certain models at the moment. My question is, does anyone know if the update will come to the Lumia 1020? The reason I ask is that I read the 1020 has reached it eol. Can anyone help with this?

yes. it doesn't matter if it has reached eol, wp 8.1 will still have support as long as mid 2017 at least. it doesn't mean your device will get all features of each update though

You're right that the L1020 has reached EOL (on September 14, 2014 to be exact). I'm on Dev Prev, and my Settings > about says I'm running Windows(r) Phone 8.1 Update*, and Cyan under Settings > extras+info. If it's safe to assume that what the DevPrevs receive will also be made available to those not in DevPrev, then the L1020 will get 8.1 Update 1.

*- This is also Update "1", despite the missing the digit "1", with reference to this article.
