Will the 1080 screen actually make us lose the wide tile "feature"?

I'm pretty sure the gutter didn't take up 1/3rd of the start screen in 7.5...you should get a pair of glasses if you don't have a pair yet...that or a better lens subscription lol. And 7.5 had two columns of tiles...so I don't understand what point you are trying to make.

If this photo is accurate from wmpoweruser, it looks like I have nothing to worry about!! There is a tile that stretches the full width and it looks to be twice as tall to make the proportions work.
