Will the 640xl get the anniversary update?

Looks like it doesn't meet hardware requirements: 1G/8G. Have been unable to find anything that raises this question. Wondering if MS will take back and provide allowance for phone that can take the update.

It meets the hardware requirements, where did you read that?

It's very likely that it will receive the update, but of course, MS could always pull the rug out from under these phones on launch day like before.

Went back and looked a little deeper at the actuial MS published specs..

Requirements for desktop/tablet have changed, but mobile will still allow 1/8, so 640xl still OK.
