Will the Lumia 635 get the Windows 10 update?

Will the Lumia 635 get the Windows 10 update later this year? Trying to decide between the 635 and the 520. If the 635 will get the 10 update, it will tip the scales in its favor.

Both have a chance on RTM release, but the preview may not support 512 Mb devices. But the 635 has an edge in that it has a quad core 400 processor instead of a dual core S4.

Both will get 10 eventually, but the carrier can potentially interfere.

My money would be on official 10 earlier for the 635.
It has a different set of compromises, but the 635 is probably the better choice.
(Snapdragon 400 is a step up over the last gen 520's Snapdragon S4, which is slower anyway)

it was I think a Snapdragon S4 Plus which was used before the hundreds.

The current 530 series models have a 200.

Don't even consider a 520. Get the 635 without even thinking about it. The screen is waaaaaaaay better and performance wise it's SD400 performs roughly on par and sometimes even faster than my old 920. I got mine for $70, outstanding value.
