Will the Nokia Lumia Icon have the Windows 8.1 Update?

I am available for an upgrade in May and I really want to get this phone but I would like to know if it will be able to run the latest version of Windows first. By the way, the only date I've heard for the release of 8.1 is March.

8.1 will not be released to consumers until the summer, with a developers preview a couple months in advance. Probably April/May at the absolute earliest.

The NL Icon will not come with WP8.1, but it will be easily upgradeable via developers preview or official release of the 8.1 update.
