Will the old files get deleted after upgrading to Windows 10?

will the old files get deleted after upgrading to windows 10

i have fear that my files may get dissappear if i upgrade to windows 10 from windows 7.
Is it so?

If you do an upgrade, no they will not be deleted.

That being said, it is always good to backup.
