will the pixel buds work with cortana?

Hi Dan,

Wondering if you or someone else might have a pair of Pixel Buds, and wondering if I re-map my assistant of choice on my Pixel 2 to be Cortana, if that will make the assistant that the Pixel Buds call upon also be Cortana.
