Will this Lumia 920 work on T-Mo in Chicago area?

The AT&T Lumia 920 uses LTE 700MHz and 1700MHz according to the according to the AT&T website. I would just go into the nearest T-Mobile and just straight up ask them about which bands are being used. The T-Mobile lists the 920 as compatible, so they've done testing on it.

Okay, ignore everything I've said. The 1900MHz band will get you 4G in Chicago. The 1700/2100 MHz bands will get you spotty 4G where T-Mobile hasn't refarmed the 1900MHz band. And time will tell if when they turn on LTE in Chicago over 1700/2100 MHz if it will work or not. I know once T-Mobile gets LTE in Chicago I'll be switching over.

Edit: The phone must have both 1700 and 2100 MHz to get LTE or 4G over them. And as for the warranty, they come with a one year manufacturer's warranty.

Thanks everyone for advice. I bought a white unlocked Rogers Lumia 920 from Negri, got it on Friday, and it's been working like a charm.

Until today.

Apparently, I am a victim of the 1308 update. After the update, I get horrible service (practically no service at all). Afraid to hard-reset because the probability of bricking seems so high and I have no time to fiddle with the Navifirm workaround for that.

So, instead of making my life happier and simpler, Lumia 920 just stole a shi*ton of my time today and doesn't even function like a phone. And since, while trying to redeem the situation, I installed the "access point" app that cannot be removed, I might be effed even after (if) Rogers pushes the next update (1314 I think). My life was cut short by probably a year by the amount of stress this is giving me.

:(

Reset it if you can to remove the access point app, it will break your internet sharing. I reset my phone and using it without any issues with mms and internet sharing, connectivity is bad as compared to my previous Lumia 810. The phone heats up when using data and battery just bleeds. I hope Nokia pushes an update soon
